CEO boosts direct stake in Lukoil to 2.985% from 2.982%

MOSCOW, Sep 3 (PRIME) -- Vagit Alekperov, CEO of Russian oil producer Lukoil, increased his direct stake in the company to 2.985% from 2.982% after purchasing 25,000 common shares on the over-the-counter market, Lukoil said in a statement on Tuesday.

The shares were acquired in the framework of a long-term motivation program for the executives.

The total stake in Lukoil owned by Alekperov’s family was estimated at 26.06% of common shares as of late November 2018.
